Up, up and away!

We finally did it! We went hot air ballooning!

We flew with Skyward Balloons, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone wanting to go hot air ballooning in the area.

One thing I found surprising was just how smooth the whole ride was. From take off to (and including) the landing.

P.S. Thanks, mom and dad!

You are welcome. I hope we will see more pictures from the whole event when you come over.

WOW! That is awesome! I intended to take my hubby on a hot air balloon last year for his 40th but I am still working up the nerve to go. I am scared of heights, but this is something that I would like to try - some day!

The photos are great!

Cheers,
Tricia

Do it! I get dizzy standing on a chair, so I was a little uneasy about it the night before.
One nice thing about the hot air balloon was that they are only allowed to ascend/descend at (I think) 200 feet per minute so the climb was relatively slow. I guess when you have a bit of time to adjust, it does not seem like a big deal at all. I used to fly small planes - somehow the hot air balloon felt safer!

Lucia
